Conserveira de Lisboa was first known as Mercearia do Minho and was established in 1930 offering just one product: canned fish.

The store maintains its original look with the characteristic 30s style. The main counter, the shelves and the office didn’t suffer any changes.

The biggest change in the store, even though we can’t be accurate exactly when it took place, was the sealing of the tank where the tuna used to be salted.

At that time, the tuna, when salted, was also sold in pieces.
